They met at a gym. She was working the desk. He was working his tri’s and bi’s. And when a 30-something guy with beaver teeth (her words, not mine) began incessantly hitting on her, it was he who came to her rescue. Her name was Abbey Tessier. His, Curt Sparks. As the days went by, Curt’s older sister bought a gym membership for the sole reason of scoping out Curt’s new love interest. And as the years went by, Abbey incessantly fell in love with Curt. For his heart, and just maybe, his muscles.
They met at the alter. She was wearing white. He was working the tuxedo. And I was rockin’ the camera. (I was so blessed to capture the moment they got engaged when I was first starting out. And as family, it only seemed natural to finish the job.) As the minutes went by, Curt pledged unwavering loyalty to his bride. And as the day went by, Abbey’s smile grew wider, knowing her husband’s heart was hers forever, and just maybe, his muscles. :)
To the Mr. and Mrs. – We couldn’t be happier that you’ve found each other! This is only the beginning! And to Curt – Thank you for loving Abbey as much as we all love her. Welcome to this crazy family!
*Addendum: It has come to my attention I may have led readers to believe that the two “picture of a picture” images of Abbey which once occupied this space were my own. They are not. They are the work of CT/NY based editorial and portrait photographer Robert Falcetti. My sincerest apologies to Robert and anyone who I may have confused! You can follow Falcetti‘s work HERE.*
Huge props to Todd and Nikki Zurell for rocking out this bride’s hair and makeup.
Seriously? How can a photog go wrong? My job is so stinking hard.. ;)A masterpiece in so many ways.My uncle Durand catching a glimpse of his sweet little girl. And then it was Curt’s turn. Lookin’ studly, Curtis. ;)This shot is sort of different for me. Way more pictorial/graphic than I would typically shoot. But I think I like it.When I was shooting from the balcony, I caught my cousins Lily and Logan staring me down. Or up, rather. :)Mr. and Mrs. Sparks, ladies and gents! And lookin’ gooood.FAVE if there ever was one. :)Curt and Abbey’s first dance was so sweet. And as you might imagine from the image below, Curt is an absolute teddy bear.Cue the tears for this one, folks. Heart-wrenching, I tell you. But oh so beautiful. And last but not least, the mother and father of the bride, Durand and Cheri. So happy. :)
Happy Thursday!
