In the late afternoon of Saturday, April 20th, Holley and Josh prepared for their first look. While Holley fanned back her tears with a disposable dinner plate, Josh was finishing a letter for his soon-to-be bride. I asked them both if they were nervous, but their replies were much the same. “No, I’m just ready!” And ready was right… After one of the most adorable first looks I’ve ever photographed, and more than seven years together, Holley and Josh exchanged teary vows in front of 100+ family and friends. A party that went late into the night and a bride and groom looking more happy than ever before left me feeling thankful to be a part of their special day…
H&J – Thank you for your kindness, your innate ability to smile with your eyes, and for making my job so stinking easy! I’ve loved the opportunity to work with you both, and hope you enjoy your sneak peek. XOXO!! :)
Holley’s Allure gown and Nina shoes made for one smokin’ bride!
Isn’t this girl fabulous? Every piece of lace… Every strand of hair. Was fabulous.
And then came the first look I was telling you about. THIS is why they’re awesome.
These two were unnaturally – or should I say naturally – GREAT at modeling.
One of my very favorites! :)
But then there was this one…
I’ve never worked with a group of groomsmen who liked to laugh THIS much before…
Many, many thanks to Agave Brothers for the florals. Do you SEE that fireplace mantel?!
Pretty in pink, these ladies were!
And the ceremony went off without a hitch!
This shot will always be one of my very favorite things to capture. :) MARRIED.
Many thanks to Agave Road coordinator Grace Woodward for being so helpful throughout H&J’s day!
I’m a sucker for classic black and white reception pics… Especially when crying’s involved. ;)
And they were off! Loved the effect of the exit-bubbles on this one.
Congratulations, you two! Happy Monday!!
