Some weddings are game changers… Weddings that inspire you wildly with prettiness everywhere you look. Weddings that turn your usual 30-image blog posts into 65-image blog posts because you just. can’t. decide. :) Last Friday, Dylan and I experienced such a wedding. In front of 85 friends and family, Jackie and Danny began their day as two, and ended their day as one. It was the least stressful, most playful, and most wonderful Friday ever. And we were SO happy to play a part in capturing it all. (You’ll see why in a second…) :)
J&D – Good grief. You two have been absolutely amazing to work with. THANK YOU for having us, befriending us, and feeding us such wonderful food. ;) We know you won’t be back from your honeymoon for a while yet. But we hope you can find some Wi-Fi and relive your special day through some of our favorite pictures! XOXO!! A&D
Before you ask, I’ll go ahead and address the question everyone is thinking… Those perfect-in-every-way bridesmaid dresses? Are from BHLDN!! (As are Jackie’s gorgeous shoes…) And I can’t even tell you the amount of hyperventilation I suffered after first seeing J’s Monique Lhuillier gown. Wait until you see it on her!
Hotel Zaza provided the loveliest getting-ready location for Jackie and her girls. Many thanks go out to Kelly Kana for hair and Your Beautiful Face for makeup. Absolutely flawless jobs all around!
Something about the composition of this shot gets me every single time I look at it. And how can a girl look SO good no matter WHAT she’s doing at ALL times? Oh Jackie, show me your ways…
And with the help of her girls, she was ready in no time. Don’t they all look ridiculously stunning?!
Back at The Parador, groomsmen Jon and Ben (whose last name is FRENCH! – we had a little bonding moment there) helped this dapper groom with finishing touches. I asked Danny if he was nervous. Not one bit!
I also asked Danny if he’s ever been told that he looks like Seth MacFarlane. Because, really?! It’s a little nuts.
I’ve said it countless times before, and I’ll say it again… First looks are the BEST decision you can make for your wedding day. Based on this image, I’d say J&D would agree with me. To read more about why, go HERE.
I absolutely love shooting with Dylan. He gets shots like these while I’m getting shots like the one above.
Clearly, I am a very funny girl… ;)
If you remember anything from Jackie and Danny’s engagement session a while back, you’ll remember what naturals they are in front of the camera. Makin’ my job WAY too easy, y’all. (But I’ll take it!)
A definite favorite. Every Parador bride has to have a picture on the fountain, amiright?
Wedding Flowers by Lisa did a stellar job with bouquets and bouts. Succulents were a fab and recurring theme!
We couldn’t have asked for a more fun and welcoming wedding party. All the girls. All the guys.
And THEN. It was time to get married!!
So proud of being officially pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Vincent. LOVE! :)
A huge shout out goes out to Rebekah with Behind the Bash. She worked tirelessly to bring J&D’s vision to life through so many small details. I could work with her EVERY day. Thanks so much, Rebekah!!
This beauty is brought to you by Edible Designs by Jessie. You can NEVER go wrong with Jessie…
That extra backlight you see here is courtesy of Jackie’s step-dad. He couldn’t have known that his camera flash would make this image one of my very favorite first dance pictures ever! Thanks, Clay! :)
Danny’s best man and brother gave a very sweet and rather funny toast. Evidenced by D’s reaction below. :)
But the FOB speech (and slideshow) was the real clincher that brought Jackie to tears… She even CRIES pretty!
Congratulations you two! And happy Thursday!!
Stephanie - Gorgeous, as always, Lysie and Dyl! I’m definitely loving the bridesmaids dresses! And their first look pictures are so cute.
Lisa Baldwin - Dear Alyse & Dylan,
Thank you SO SO much for putting your incredible talents to use for my Jackie & her Danny! SO BEAUTIFUL! xoxoxo
