Oh hey, 4PM! You came extremely fast today… Thanks for your patience, blog friends. :) I’ve been on a roll with editing and blog-prepping all sorts of pretty things for you to see this week. So much so, that’s it’s 4PM and all I’ve had to eat today was Kashi Heart to Heart. You know… That cereal that looks and even tastes like dog food, but you just can’t help but love it anyway? Let’s pause for a short lunch/linner break, shall we?
And I’m BACK. (I had a roast beef sandwich, for those of you who are wondering!) And guess what else?! I’ve already completed a good deal of my Christmas shopping. :) I’ve been an early Christmas shopper since I was about nine-years-old. Of course, from the second I hit the “place order” button to the moment before a gift is opened, I am constantly second-guessing my decision – I’m the girl who gives about 17 disclaimers every Christmas morning. But it’s still fun! Have you gotten started yet?! You only have 62 days, people!!
On Saturday, Dylan and I are attending a Halloween party of sorts. Now, I’ve only celebrated Halloween once. When I was about eight. And I certainly don’t fit into my Princess Jasmine costume anymore… So I’m at a total loss regarding dress-up. My wardrobe is rather limited as a work-from-home gal, but I definitely have a lot of yellow. Maybe I can go as a pencil if I wear a pink bucket on my head? And Dylan can go all Jim Halpert/college-ruled sheet of paper on me? What’s a girl to dooo? No, really. We need major help here…
Song of the Week: Nothing by Nobody. No, seriously. My life this week has been seriously and sadly devoid of music. So because I haven’t in a long while, perhaps you won’t mind me asking… What’s your favorite song as of late? Or songs. Or artists. Or albums. Now that my office is actually a place I can work without tripping over stacks of paper and cardboard boxes, I’d really like to make a work-to album that gets the blood flowing. Recs??

Kate D - I am also struggling with a halloween costume this year.. finding the right amount of cute, original, and affordable is harder than it sounds. No like seriously tho. As far as music goes, you should really listen to Taylor Swifts latest album. I know that sounds crazy and I’m normally not a huge fan either.. but her latest album gives a couple great acoustic vibe. Listen to The Last Time, i promise you’ll like it. Also, what happened to 1 For You/ 1 For Me? just curious :)
