Simply put? There is no other family like the Anastas family… Or the Pierce family. Or any of the friends they affectionately call their “bonus family.” They are the type of people who buy you your favorite frap at Starbucks. (Instead of YOU buying THEIR favorites – true story!) And the kind of people who hug and help and honor others without thinking twice. Dylan, Kaley and I were a part of Paula and Lee’s wedding day early this month, and were continually blown away by the beauty, genuineness, and friendship infused in every single detail. And every single portion of the day. We left with thankful hearts. And even full-er memory cards. :)
P&L – Thank you for inviting us to document the promise you’ve made to one another. It’s an honor not taken lightly! We are thrilled for you both and know you’ll have many, many beautiful years ahead :) Thanks also for your patience in blog-prepping the LARGEST wedding we’ve ever shot. We hope you enjoy! XOXO!!
Paula’s Lazaro gown and Jimmy Choo flats were the perfect pair. And how gorgeous is that magnolia flower?!
Thanks to Bell Chic for makeup and Prodigy Hair Salon for hair. Our bride was picture-perfect!
P gave each of her bridesmaids an embroidered handkerchief. But the one she gave her dad took the cake!
Such a great group of groomsmen this was! Thanks for giving me the smolder on command :)
Lary’s Designs was instrumental throughout the entire day, from planning to florals. Thank you!!
Have I mentioned what a SWEET bunch of girls we got to work with? One of you get married and CALL ME! ;)
One thing is for sure… Paula is absolutely adored by her dad and now-husband.
Exchanging vows with giddy smiles :)
Husband and wife!!
After some quick shots of the full wedding party, P&L sipped some bubbly and got to posin’!
The light was PERFECTION. And it wasn’t even deathly hot outside! Can you even IMAGINE?!
A favorite, hands down!
Here’s where contracting for more than one photographer pays off… Kaley shot these wonderful detail pics while Dylan and I captured the ceremony. She is always outdoing herself by being awesome! ;)
Pretty-pretty cake by Peace, Love, & Cakes!
And the party got started…
The MOH’s speech (shout-out to the BEAUTIFUL Abbey) was especially tear-jerking.
When I first met Paula, we discovered her dad (a former wedding photographer himself) spent his first few years of life in Albany, NY! Talk about meant to be :) Loved these special first dances!
And though the day was through, the real fun was just beginning :)
Congrats, you two! XO!! <3
