The Saturday before last was spent photographing one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever laid eyes on. From the getting ready portion of the day to the ceremony and reception at Red Oak Ballroom… Everything was beyond words. Jessica and Colton exchanged vows in front of 200 of their closest loved ones and enjoyed a party that had me yet again wishing I could bust a move if only no one was looking. ;) Their day left me thankful for the ability to work with people who are so in love and appreciative of our passion to make meaningful images.
J&C – Kaley and I had the best time with you! Needless to say, I had a VERY difficult time narrowing down my favorites… I hope you enjoy them as they help you relive your day. And I hope you’re enjoying Italy!! XOXO!! :)
This girl had such an amazing group of bridesmaids. The room was full of laughter and champagne!!
Is Jessica not the absolute cutest right here? I love the excitement written all over her face and the fact that her hair is always PERFECT. :) P.S. Her Mori Lee dress and Something Bleu shoes? Also perfection.
While I was shooting with the girls, Kaley was grabbing some shots with the guys…
Favorite shot of Colton, ever. Go Kaley! :)
There are several reasons to consider a first look for your wedding day. Ample portrait time during natural and available light is one of them. We had perfect overcast skies and the perfect amount of breeze!
I could have shot these two all day. Especially in front of that WALL!!
Another favorite, simply because of the glam feel of Hotel Sorella’s lobby. I WANT that green chandelier!
This grooms’ party had us laughing like none other. Thanks for being awesome, guys!
Many thanks to Beautique Salon for making these ladies look their best. And A Memorable Event for florals!
When Jessica first described what her ceremony decor would be like, this is the EXACT image I had in my head!
It would be utterly remiss of me not to mention the amazing Linda McIngvale and her team for all they did to make this beautiful day happen. (I mean… Those trees?!) Hoping to work with them again soon!
And just like that, they were MARRIED!! :)
And I had never seen such GORGEOUS and meticulous detail in all my days…
One of the most lovely and intricate cakes ever devoured. Thanks to Who Made the Cake!
Another reason I love Jessica and Colton? They had the same first dance song as Dylan and I did! The Best is Yet to Come by Frank Sinatra… AND they ALSO danced the fox trot. Way to be awesome! :)
Toasts were heartfelt and tear inducing…
And then they were off to Italy as husband and wife!!
Congratulations, guys! And happy Monday!! :)
Stephanie Rita - Lysie, I think these portraits are some of the most “Vogue” ones you’ve ever shot! The black and white one of them sitting on the couch especially! So classy!
