Nothing could have dampened the mood during Krystal and Jeremy’s wedding this past Sunday. Not a groom’s sprained back. Not a 30% chance of thunderstorms. And certainly not any of the other small mishaps this bride and groom brushed off their shoulders. And that? Is a testament to the peace they have in just being TOGETHER. In finally being ONE after all these years… This intimate celebration was one filled with the love of 75 friends and family members, at one of the most unique venues in Houston. An inspiring affair fit for an inspiring couple…
K&J – Thank you for trusting me with documenting your wedding day! Your love is so, so SWEET. And I absolutely loved being able to capture it!! I hope your married life is off to the happiest start. :) XOXO!!
With hair and makeup completed by Liz Day, Krystal was more than ready to put on the ultimate finishing touches… A pair of purple Lulu Townsend shoes, a David’s Bridal gown, and a gorgeous lace bolero jacket!
It was such a pleasure finally meeting Jeremy! (Until the wedding, I’d only met with Krystal and her sweet mom.) This guy was SO ready to marry his bride. Here he is on the left right before seeing her for the first time…
If you’re a bride who’s on the fence about having a first look, I’d encourage you to read THIS! (P.S. Krystal’s fabulous bouquet – and ALL florals for the day – was designed by Bringing the Flowers.)
Then came portrait time. It was hard to believe these two had never been professionally photographed before!
Jeremy absolutely WERKED it. And check out that cover-girl Krystal!!
K, I swear you ALWAYS look beautiful. Like, always. No matter what. (But here especially!)
Such a lovely group of girls. It’s clear that Krystal has wonderful taste in friends…
Many thanks to you all for making me feel so welcome!!
And Balushka does it AGAIN with the most incredible paper flower displays.
After so very long… It was TIME.
It would be absolutely remiss of me not to mention the amazing and helpful person that is Alison Oase with Gardens of Bammel Lane. She ensured this pretty day ran as smoothly as possible. XOXO!!
Krystal, Jeremy, and their 75 guests continued the celebration with a very relaxed (and yummy) reception!
Do you spot those place “cards” made out of Scrabble tiles? Could they be ANY cuter?!
Big thanks go to Rhonda Griffin for this stunning cake, Ral’s Fine Catering for the delicious meal, and Robert Coler for manning the DJ’s booth. It wouldn’t have been the same without you all!
Can you believe in the days leading up to her wedding, K made time to make these gorgeous pies?!
Oh, how I love this place. And how it’s so cutely nestled inside the heart of Houston.
After dinner and toasts…
They were OFF! And they were MARRIED. :)
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Smith! And happy Wednesday!!
Krystal - Oh Alyse it is gorgeous! Thank you so much for being a part of our day!
Bruce Schroeder - Alyse,
As the father of the bride I just have to say you did such a wonderful job of capturing the spirit of Krystal & Jeremy’s special day. Thank you so very much!
