I see no better way of celebrating Valentine’s here on the blog than posting Emily and John’s sweet day at The Parador… You might remember E&J from their rainy engagement session a few months back. Well, last Saturday threatened to give us the same weather conditions. But through many-a-prayer, the rain held back. What we were left with was a photographer’s dream day. Completely cloudy. A slight breeze. And a couple more in love than ever. I am so, so grateful for Saturday. And even more grateful for these incredible clients-turned-friends.
E&J – You already know you’re wonderful, right? If you don’t… You really, really are! I have loved getting to know you and capture you together. And I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me sad your wedding is over. So how about a vow renewal in a few years? I promise I’ll BE THERE. :) Kaley and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek as much as we enjoyed photographing it all! Happy honeymooning to you! Take pictures! XOXO!!
How gorgeous are John Friedman’s florals? Many thanks to him! And sometimes, I’ll become absolutely obsessed with certain shoe shots. This one included. I mean, are you LOOKING at those Nina’s?! Perfection…
Emily’s stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown. And thanks to Pink Palette Artists, her hair and makeup were too!
Meet John. One of the kindest and most enthusiastic grooms I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.
E&J chose to have a first look. And were SO happy they did! You can read more about first looks HERE.
A million thank-you’s to the best assistant EVER. Kaley grabbed this shot!
This is one of my ultimate favorites from the entire day. These two are ALWAYS smiling this big… :)
A special thank you to E&J’s sweet friends and family for making their special day absolutely perfect.
There’s something about having a monochromaticly-dressed wedding party that is just so darn CLASSY.
And then it was time. After fifteen years of dating.
That’s Kaley’s shot on the right!!
Love this shot of Emily and John soaking everything in…
Digging Kaley’s shot on the left. THE moment they were pronounced husband and wife. :)
MARRIED. At last!!
It’s always a pleasure working alongside Mysti with Behind the Bash. She made sure the decor was spot on!
Is this cake not the definition of glam? Who Made the Cake is responsible for this one!!
Listening to E’s father giving a toast. Priceless expressions. I love these two!
Final thanks to LG Entertainment for providing the tunes that made dancing pictures like these possible. :)
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel!! And Happy Valentines Day to all. <3
