Another wedding season comes to an end! (Sometimes I can barely believe that it’s our third!!) And we couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up 2012 than road-tripping to San Antonio for Candice and Chris’s wedding day two weeks back. So much about this trip left us thankful. For brides and grooms who refer us to their bride and groom friends. (Shout out to Abby and Sean!) For our clients’ incredibly warm and welcoming families. For brand new venues with beauty that inspires us at every turn. And for Candice and Chris, whose love and incessant laughter when in each others arms reminds us that this job is pretty stinking fabulous if I do say so myself.
C&C – I’d say thank you again, but that would be redundant. And y’all know I HATE to be redundant. ;) So instead, I’ll say on behalf of both Dylan and myself – we hope you enjoy your sneak peek! XOXO!!
Shooting near San Antonio (Boerne, TX to be exact) meant working with a whole new-to-us group of vendors! We were so thrilled to photograph the gorgeous florals designed by Joyce Graham with JD Celebrations.
Candice’s Antonio Melani pumps and Allure gown were nothing short of PERFECT on her…
I love it when my grooms are completely chill, non-nervous, and READY for their first looks!
Capturing those in-between moments is what makes me tick. Like the shot above, just seconds before Chris turned around and saw his bride for the first time. And the sweet moments below. I was asked this week to describe my style and posing philosophy. It comes down to this: It’s never about the pose. It’s about the in-between.
Thank God for good light! A sky that’s perfectly exposed without me even trying? COME. ON.
I don’t know what it is about this shot. It’s just the minutia that I love…
You both know how beautiful you are together, right? Okay. Just checking!
Loving this sequence. Especially Dylan’s close up on the left… He’s outdoing me, y’all!!
And there they go. Making my job far too easy once again.
After capturing one LARGE wedding party, we prepped for ceremony time.
The number one reason I love working with Dylan is that he allows me to be in two places at once. While I was seated and ready to shoot the rest of the processional, he was capturing this rather stoic shot of the groom and his groomsmen making their way to the front. Oh! And there’s our past groom, Sean right in tow!
Oh shoot. This is also Dylan’s. :) Candice? You’re breathtaking.
C&C booked Kendall Plantation back in the drawing phase of its design. They took a risk. And it 100% paid off.
Married! And it’s FEELS SO GOOD.
This gorgeous cake brought to you by Jennifer Pyron of Jenni Cakes…
After toasts, bellies filled with amazing food, and a dance party like you wouldn’t believe, guests sent Mr. and Mrs. Greenfield on their way to the Dominican Republic via sparkler exit. We are so, so happy for these two. :)
Congratulations ALL around! And happy Monday!!
