Tidbit Tuesday #149

So… We bought Sully a red and green argyle sweater. Yes! We are those people. Although I have to admit I was a little shocked when it was DYLAN’s idea this time. “I think he just gets so cold at night!” And that right there is how you know we’ve made the transition from NY to TX. House temps at 63 degrees? Fuh-reeeeezing.

With football season underway (and thanks to the past two weekends of entertaining college football and ‘Cuse wins!) I have made a commitment to start ENJOYING it. I mean, if it’s going to be on for four days a week (I thought I signed up for only two?!) then I may as well try… On Sunday, I asked Dylan so many questions I swore he was going to storm out of the room. But he was patient with me. And maybe even a little happy that I’m now trying. And let me tell you something – I totally know the difference between a punt and a kick. Booyah!! ;)

Friends! I cannot thank you enough for all of these years of support. Our Facebook fan page JUST passed 2000 fans!! The sweetest part? I haven’t really solicited fans via FB invite since marker 500. And all those people were just literal friends who felt obligated. I STILL LOVE YOU!! ;) To know there are at LEAST 1500 extra people who’ve made the move unquestioned – well, know that you are appreciated! Thank you…

As you might have seen me tweet this past weekend (wait for it – this gets ironic…) I’m highly considering making my weekends social-media-free. I know a couple of people who’ve made this their goal, and their lives are sweeter for it. I just don’t know if I can give up on Instagram for a whole two days. I mean, how else will you know what face Sully is making THIS TIME?! But my email inbox? That I can do.

Song of the Week: Let’s Stay Together by Al Green. This song is the number one song on Dylan’s mind at all times. Whenever I hear a little “I-I-I-I-I…” from upstairs, I know it’ll be followed by, “am soo in looove with you.” Al Green, I thank you. Your voice is like buttah. P.S. Have you ever heard THIS version? D puts it to shame. :)

By the end of the week, we’ll have a wedding and an engagement session up on the blog! But for now, here’s a little taste of our Instagram life. And many of Sully’s cute and wrinkly faces. I mean, but of COURSE…
