I feel like I’ve been sitting on this wedding for a while now, although Merideth and Patrick have only been married for two weeks. Perhaps it’s because I’ve just been SO eager to share it with you all. Because, as they say… All good things take time. Like the time it took for Patrick to finally ask Merideth out after first eyeing her at church as she passed out programs. Or the time it took for Merideth to so graciously make her way to the end of the aisle on her father’s arm, where Patrick was waiting to promise her his forever… And vise versa.
M&P – Dylan and I were so honored to spend August 4th documenting the beginning of your new life together. We are inspired by your hearts for God, your love for your families, and your commitment to each other. We know there are SO many wonderful blessings headed your way. THANK YOU for the opportunity to photograph your most special and beautiful day. We hope you enjoy your sneak-peek pictures!! XOXO!!
Hello and Co. was responsible for all signage and design of M&P’s save-the-dates, invitations, menus, and countless other things. And do you SEE Merideth’s Anna Barge dress?! It was fit for a ballerina.
Many thanks to the girls at Recollection Vintage Rentals for the lovely flowers. Can’t go wrong with anemones!!
I fell in LOVE with the getting-ready room at First Presbyterian. The soft blues. The ginormous windows…
This bride and groom left no detail un-detailed. ;) This is perhaps the classiest invite suite I’ve ever seen!
I also had the honor of shooting M&P’s rehearsal dinner the night before. At this dinner, Patrick’s sweet (and might I add GOOD-looking) parents gifted Merideth with a bracelet depicting her new family crest. See below. :)
And here is the woman of the hour! Looking fabulous with thanks to lovely hair and makeup artists Mario Tort and Jennifer Aronson. Granted, Merideth would still look gorgeous wearing a potato sack. But you got me…
One of my favorite shots from the day. Mrs. Sharp – helping her girl get ready.
While I was shooting with the girls, Dylan was shooting with the boys. This is Patrick. Debonaire as ever.
It’s hard to tell in this picture, but Patrick’s initials are engraved in his cufflinks. I’m telling you, DETAILS!
Merideth and Patrick chose to have a first look! I, for one, was THRILLED. Here’s why…
There’s such a sweet contentment that shows on M&P’s faces when around each other. So fun to photograph!!
My most-loved portrait of the day. You two are TOO beautiful for WORDS…
Go on, Patrick. GO ON.
Dylan’s shot… I just love it. Plus? You could never tell the background’s full of cars in the FPC parking lot. ;)
Wedding party portrait time gave us a chance to hang with the cool kids!
And then it was TIME.
Special shout out to the insanely helpful ladies at FPC – one of whom’s name is ELISE. Whooop, whoop!!
Another shot by that husband of mine! M&P arranged for a bagpiper to lead them down the aisle. Not sure why, but bagpipes never fail to reduce me to tears. It was such a special way to honor the Murray’s Scottish heritage.
And the Murray’s are MARRIED. :)
Back at Brennan’s, the lovely Natalie and Ashley of Two Be Wed made sure the reception decor was PHENOMENAL. P.S. If you’re a bride in need of a planner, Two Be Wed is the way to GO.
I wanted to LIVE inside the room on the right. And not only because of the wine. ;) Isn’t it glamorous?!
All of these stunning chalkboard elements had my jaw on the floor.
As did this masterpiece by Susie’s Cakes…
Bride and groom needlepoints were handcrafted by Merideth’s mother!
Special thanks to Daniel Pawlowski of Pro Sound Co. for his DJ talents. Such a pleasure to work with!
The toasts at this wedding had everyone in the room aww-ing incessantly. I mean, clearly. :)
A HUGE congratulations to the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Patrick and Merideth Murray!!
Now leave them some well-wishes! :)
Dale and Buddy - If this is a sneak peek you have your work cut out for you. These are amazing probably because they had amazing subjects to work with. It truly was a fairly tale wedding. We had a wonderful time sharing your special day with you.
Thanks and have a great life. Hope to see you soon.
Much love,
Dale and Buddy
P.S. Can’t wait to see your final picks.
Lauren Jolly - Wow wow wow, Alyse! Absolutely beautiful!
