Tidbit Tuesday #132

It’s Tuesday at 11:09AM, and I have yet to accomplish the brushing of my teeth, let alone any of the tasks on my to-do list. (Did I just admit that out loud?) I blame the BEST yoga pants ever made, as well as Xfinity on Demand – for being the glue that keeps me sitting here on this couch. Watching Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp… AKA, honest-to-goodness, horrendous reality television. Moving on. Just bear with me… :)

Last weekend Dylan and I saw The Amazing Spider-man, and had a very intellectual/philosophical/wildly-impressive conversation about it afterwards. You know… About why I am so drawn to superhero movies. X-Men: First Class was basically the most incredible movie I’d seen in my first 23 years. And THEN, came Spider-man… These movies have JUST enough action and suspense for me to love them, the blood is kept to a minimum, and there is always some sort of cheesy love story. And Peter and Gwen? I want to hang a poster of them in our room.

Yesterday I spent HOURS drafting a serious cleaning schedule for this big house we’ve got ourselves! It’s been a goal of mine for about two years now, and I’m stoked to say it’s finally done. It will of course need to be adjusted the longer we live here, but so long as I don’t have to clean a THING on the weekends, I’ll be a happy girl. ;) OH! And Tuesdays are also my barely-clean-a-thing day. You better believe I planned it out that way… ;)

Song of the Week: Never Once by Matt Redman. Clearly I have been on a Matt Redman kick lately… For which I cannot apologize. In the midst of apparent hopelessness, this line brings me to my knees… “Never once did we ever walk alone. Never once did You leave us on our own.” If you need encouragement today, PLEASE listen to this song. Because NO matter what, He is faithful. He is always, ALWAYS faithful.

This month’s going to bring a mix of all sorts of wonderful shoots to the blog. But until then… You’ve GOTS to know I’m an Instagram addict. So here’s a batch of new ones just for you. :)
