Tidbit Tuesday #127

On Saturday, as Dylan and I were just finishing up shooting our clients’ first look, I burst into a frantic fit of sorts. You see, there was a mosquito sucking all the blood out of my face… And while that probably doesn’t seem TOO bad – I grew up in the country, after all – just wait, it gets worse.. My instinct was to lightly shew the little fella away. But instead? I crushed his little body and got blood ALL over my finger. The trauma still plays over and over in my head. All I keep thinking is, that better have been MY BLOOD. And? Gross story OVER.

If you know me, you know I can be pretty impulsive. Usually, this impulsivity manifests itself in ice cream binges or nail polish purchases. But lately, ESPECIALLY when I’m not having the brightest of days, I find myself reaching for whatever article of clothing is nearest and dressing Sully up in it. WOW. I sound like a lunatic… But believe me, the sight of Sully wearing a striped racerback tank is enough to turn any frown upside down. :)

Last night, I reorganized the apps on my iPhone for no apparent reason. And suddenly my world is just one big ball of CONFUSING. My muscle memory (you know, all that muscle I store in my pointer finger and thumb..) wants me to reach for Instragram in the lower right hand corner, but it’s NOT THERE. Part of me wants to take it all back. But another part – the nerdy part – is interested to see how long it’ll take my brain to come around.

Song of the Week: Indelible by Brooke Fraser. And every song on the What To Do With Daylight album. I’m sort of a huge fan of the old school Brooke. This entire album just brings me such peace. And quiet. And I feel Jesus when I listen to it. Particularly with this song. Oh, you muuust listen to it. You can do so HERE…

I’ve got a gorgeous wedding and fun little e-sesh coming your way this week! But I know you want to see Tiney sporting his racerback like he’s ready for a day of surfing at the beach. So here’s mah boooy!! Chillin’ and stuff. ;)
