On Friday I had the absolute pleasure (code for – it was AWESOME) of shooting engagement portraits for Merideth and Patrick – an accountant and an advertising guru who first fell for each other at a church retreat for singles. Hey now… You know I can relate. The second I walked into my first Campus Crusade for Christ meeting I couldn’t help but think, “Who knows! Maybe my future husband’s in this room!” Daaang straight he was. ;) But back to Merideth and Patrick… They are two of literally the most smiley and fun and SWEET people I’ve ever worked with, let alone met. And it’s because they LOVE each other with a fierceness that shows in everything they do. My camera toootally ate them up. And HERE are some of my favorites from our time! XOXO!! :)
They couldn’t have coordinated better! Big ups for their fashion sense!
I really wish I could be more eloquent when describing how adorable they are. This will have to suffice…
The blingity-bling! Patrick did good, didn’t he girls?!
It’s like they just fit or something.
The shot on the left? It makes me smile endlessly. :)
Merideth, you’re never more beautiful than when you’re laughing. Good GRIEF.
Tickle wars. We like them around here.
Patrick was mad stylish. I had to have him show off his rimmed specs!
After a quick change, the sun was in the PERFECT spot to ever-so-slightly illuminate this crazy-amazing tree in the background. Merideth and I came to the conclusion that it belongs in The Lion King or something…
You guys?? Fabulosity. Sheer fabulosity.
I’ve shot at Hermann Park MANY times before, but was determined to shoot it differently this time around. I’m pretty happy with the outcome. And I’m pretty happy with this shot on the left.
YAY for ending on something totally metaphorical and deep looking… ;)
Happy Wednesday!
