Happy Tuesday afternoon! (Don’t I sound all fancy??) But no, really… I realize it’s after 2PM. And I thank you for your patience whilst I finished painting my nails, culled last weekend’s crazy-fabulous wedding, and played with my entirely-too-excitable dog-child. There are somethings you just gotta do first! Including watching random episodes of Greys Anatomy, and pretending you know what the heck is going on…
Speaking of Grey’s… (Just bear with me, okay?) I just got word that my Vitamin D levels are back to NORMAL. This comes as a total shock after two years of pill taking. READ: Forgetting to take my pills. But those two weeks prior to my upteenth blood drawing, I took that gross little pill eeevery day. And dang, did it actually pay off!
On Sunday, Dylan and I saw The Hunger Games. Dylan’s read all three books. I have not. (Go figure.) He really enjoyed it. And I wanted to get up and leave about three different times throughout the film. Not because I was bored or because the movie wasn’t exceptionally produced. But because I wasn’t prepared. And I KNOW the type of movies I cannot handle. Make fun of me if you will, but The Hunger Games now joins the likes of Never Let Me Go, A Beautiful Mind, Signs, and Avatar. Those blue people shook me UP, y’all.
If you’ve noticed that things have been a little quiet around here, please rest assured… It’s just because some pretty big/AWESOME things have gone down in the past couple of weeks. For example! In the span of just five days, I managed to check FOUR things off of my to-do list that have BEEN on my to-do list for the past TWO years. (That’s a lot of years!) And they were all in preparation for another something-awesome. (NOT a baby.) :)
Song of the Week: Sparrow by Audrey Assad. Dylan first discovered this song a couple of days ago, and once he introduced me, I burst into tears. It’s one of the single most powerful reminders we can have. That our littlest cares matter to God. His eye is on the sparrow. And we can KNOW He’s watching us. Amazingness. Listen to it HERE.
Before I can share more of this big day, I want to leave you with this super-fun sneak peek of Keleigh and Brandon’s ceremony recessional. It makes me oh-so-happy. :) More to come very, very soon!!
Happy Tuesday!!
Amanda - Okay this picture is flawless!!! & i’m convinced we are the same person, i have the same vitamin D problem, & i ALWAYS forget to take that pill!
Carine U - Literally laughed out loud at the part about watching random episodes of Grey’s…I thought I was the only one who did that! So funny and I have no idea why I do it.
Jae - I giggle every time you say “not a baby” when mentioning your goals/to-do list. Also I am so jealous you get to work at home so you can play with your baby dog. I’m stuck in a corporate job until further notice and I wish I could be home with my fluffy pup all day.
