Last Saturday I shot a wedding that I literally haven’t stopped thinking about since. It was THAT sweet. Sure, the venues were beautiful and the dress fit like a glove. And puh-lease don’t even get me started on the food… (DE-LISH!) But the sweetest part? Was the excitement shared by one bride and one groom about spending the rest of their lives together. Because one plus one? Equals one. L & C – Thank you beyond thank you! I truly could never say it enough.. Thank you for choosing me and trusting me. Thank you for the kindness with which you’ve befriended me. And thank you for being drop-dead gorgeous. Inside, and out. I hope you’re enjoying the sand and the sun and the waves on your honeymoon, and I hope enjoy this peek at one of my FAVORITE posts ever!! XOXO!! :)
You can never go wrong with Badgley Mischka…The gorgeousness of this Paloma Blanca dress on its hanger is one thing. But the gorgeousness of this dress on the bride is unreal..Lindsey getting ready with the help of her maid of honor and sister-in-law, Megan. I just love this shot Kaley captured. :)Lindsey and Connor hired a trolley to drive them to and fro on the island. And I’m SO thrilled with the pictures that resulted!Lindsey and her amazing set of girlfriends. All glammed up by Exquisite Reflections and The Spa at Hotel Galvez! P.S. She’s breathtaking, right?Likely one of my favorite bridal party shots of all time. Seriously, are you ALL professional models?!Meet the man of Lindsey’s dreams – Connor – being all debonaire and handsome on the trolley! It was a tight squeeze in there. But I was absolutely digging it.The front of Lindsey and Connor’s reception venue – Ashton Villa. I could shoot there all day long. The bride and groom in one frame WITHOUT seeing each other before the ceremony. Though I’m sure it was tempting. :)
Ceremony time at the historic First Presbyterian Church! Lindsey’s parents AND grandparents got married here, so it definitely holds special significance… Meet me at the alterrr in your white dress. I ain’t gettin’ no yooounger, so we might’s’well DO IT! ;)
A picture to join the likes of parents and grandparents walking down the same aisle. I’m so happy to have been a part of this..After the ceremony, we were chasing the sun a bit. But would you LOOK at that backlighting?I think I love you guys… You made my job WAY too easy.
While it WAS a tad awkward I’m sure, for me to join them underneath Lindsey’s veil… As soon as I took this image and looked down at my camera, I FLIPPED OUT. I’m so proud of this moment captured. And rest assured, they are laughing because I’m totally funny. ;)It’s clear as day that Lindsey and Connor belong together..Why is EVERYTHING so beautiful in Galveston?!I call it, “BAMMM!! We did it!” ;)Immediately following, we were able to capture the full wedding party on the church’s front steps.GAHHH. Thank you all for your patience in producing this image. You guys look FABULOUS.The entrance to the reception, in all it’s splendor. Many thanks to Bob Christensen of Carriage Caterers, who acted as caterer, baker, AND florist. Bob nailed it!It’s 8:03AM, and now I want cake…Kaley’s shot of the bride and groom descending the stairs into the reception! Love the angle.Big thanks to Daulong’s Mobile Music for being so easy to work with and for playing all the best 90’s music anyone could ask for. The mother/son..And the father/daughter dances are always a favorite! But this moment would be my most favorite of all. :)
