I don’t know about you, but one of my faaavorite parts of Christmas is getting to wrap gifts for my family and friends in all sorts of crafty loveliness. Dylan’s favorite part, on the other hand, is presenting gifts in the plastic bags they came in… It’s okay though. It’s semi-endearing. ;) For this month’s 1 For Me // 1 For You, I am soo excited to share some of my new gift wrapping supplies from Anthropologie!! But first? Let’s review the rules of how this whole thang works…
- What is it? It’s pretty simple! If I have one of something that I find fashionable, functional, or just plain fun, I send the winner a duplicate.
- Who can enter? Friends, past/present clients, random readers! Basically anybody. (Please see the not-so-fine print below for full rules and restrictions.)
- How long do I have to enter? You’ll have until next Saturday, November 12th at midnight CST to enter. The winner will be chosen at random using the random number generator at Random.org and announced the next morning, Sunday, November 13th.
- Sweet! Now how do I enter? You must comment (and answer the specific question asked at the end of this post) to enter. It’s suuuper easy!! Comments left via Facebook, Twitter or elsewhere will not be taken into consideration.
- But why? Because plastic bags just don’t cut it… ;)
My loot and YOUR loot, in all its prettiness: Three different sets of handmade gift wraps, each “sustainably crafted from the renewable bark of lokta bushes in the time-honored tradition of Nepalese papermaking;” 14 yards of super-cozy felted ribbon; and a set of six handmade, sewn gift tags.I looove this Geo Diamond Wrapping Paper, and the Crinkled Stripes and Tapestry Stripes are just as awesome. So I HAD to get all three!
This cream-colored Love Tied Spool is legit. I may just have to start recycling all this stuff. It would be too hard to say goodbye…And of course, we need some Penmanship Gift Tags! Do you think this one will finally convince Cam that I AM his favorite?? ;)BAM. This is what a non-plastic-bag Christmas looks like!!
Question to enter: What do you most want for Christmas? Besides awesome gift wrapping supplies… ;)
Sarah M - I want to see my college roommates! PS I love anthropologies gift wrapping!!
stephanie rita - all I want for Christmas is YOU! // no, but really. i’d love to visit. or see you sometime. =)
Brittany Nissley - Hmm I don’t really have much of a Christmas list this year. But as always I’d love anything from walkinlove.clothing =)
Amanda M - This is so weird because my mom was just asking me to tell her a couple things that i’d like! I think i’d probably like the most to get a beginners drawing book because I have always wanted to learn to draw a tad bit better than the mini stick people :)
Amy Chandler - I kind of feel like I’m becoming an old lady, but I really want a sewing machine for Christmas! I have a burning desire to learn to make quilts and homemade throw pillows for our couch! So, a sewing machine is on my Christmas list this year!
Dana S - An nice camera, mine is just not doing the trick anymore!
Debby Morales - I really want a baby for Christmas;) It would be a great way to tell our families and such a blessing:)
Sarah Korzun - A GPS, boring gift, but needed cus I get lost easily!!
Karina Colorado - I would LOVE to have every single nail polish color Essie makes. Love them all…and I only have two…
elizabeth - I would looooove to get some good violin duet music to play with my neighbor! :)
What an adorable give away! :)
Karen A. - I would love a massage! and the chance to relax :)
Nicole - what I really want for Christmas is my husband to be home to celebrate it with our 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son…Santa, do you hear me????
Lauren Jolly - Why is it always so hard for me to come up with something that I want when someone asks me, but I feel like I make wishlists all year long! I guess what I most want for Christmas is a couple days off of work and some un-busy, un-stressful, un-running-around-from-house-to-house family time. Might sound cheesy, but that sounds AMAZING!!
Athena - Love these gift wrapping supplies. I would love a really nice blender for Christmas or some perfume. I’m pretty easy to please..lol
Breanna Klontz - I would love a new camera… mine unfortunatly broke during a fall at the Halloween Party :)
Abby Grace - I’ve been dying for a new ShootSac cover and a Kelley Moore bag- I’ve sent about a bajillion links to my husband already. And… world peace.
Danielle Nurenberg - I would love to get the rest of the stuff for my kitchen! I still need a blender and a food processor!!
Korie Lynn - A little puppy friend for our dog, Betty! If that doesn’t happen, then I’m hoping to convince Joel that Betty needs a personalized Swiss velvet collar with her name sewn on it. I might be addicted to anything found on Etsy :)
Sarah Jane - A camera would be nice!
Mischelle - For Christmas I am praying for the funds to take the entire family to Norway for my neice’s wedding and not just me. The oldest graduates this year so it will probably be one of the last family trips we take together. Would love that. I would also love a Kurieg. ;o)
Allison - I greatly desire a Nespresso espresso machine for christmas! That would make my day EVERY DAY!
Kate D - I would love something pretty and sparkly. and i desperately need a new flat iron.
Sarah - I would love some room decor from Anthropologie, my shopping bag online is filled!
Taylor - Nars makeup would be lovely!
Jen - I would love to get my blog printed up in book form for Christmas! It’s a really fun family scrapbook for us.
Tina M - I would love to get new Uggs for Christmas!!!!
Vanessa - I want sperries for christmas!
Lindsay - For Christmas I just want to relax and enjoy the holiday on vacation. Maybe a new pair of Toms? But we have been far too spoiled by family and friends in the last few months to want anything else for our home — seriously.
Kathleen Clipper - The photographer in me could shoot of a list of different pieces of equipment that I’d LOVE to get for Christmas this year, but in all reality…I just want a steamer. I’m one who cannot stand having a wrinkled shirt, dress, blazer…jeans and an iron just isn’t as much fun as a steamer :)
Jessica - I would soooo love a brand new king size bed or a Nikon D5100:)….and world peace;)
April Islip - I really want an ipod, I need to catch up with the times!! lol
Amber Jacoby - I would love things to decorate my new room with!! Stuff to make it “me” :)
Carmen - I know it’s weird, but I totally want a paint sprayer for Christmas! I’m DIY crazy!
Abby Casey - I want a food processor and a vacation!
Rachelle Digges - I would love a week along with just me and my hubster and my kids. I don’t think that will fit in a gift bag though…
Char - Hmmmm, I would love boots. Like the perfect, brown leather boots that I have been looking for for two years now! ;)
Meg - a washing machine! because the sharon laundry mat is just plain scary.
Stacey Anne - I really just want one very special thing…I want for ALL of my family to be together this year, it hasn’t happened in years and this year there’s a chance, I’m hoping it will work out! The gift wrapping would add a special touch to the special year :)
Kata - I really want a kindle so i stop spending so much on new books! And a pair of cowboy boots!
Alison - I want a kitten – will take a lot of convincing, but crossing my fingers!
Weslea - This year I just want practical stuff.. like gift cards and shoes… boring, but necessities!
Cari - I want for Christmas is to come home from Peru a changed person with more love in me.
Taylor - Man do I want a new 5d mark II…but want and need, well those two are defining themselves. Thanks for the inspiration! God Bless!
Noelle - I would love a new purse from Fossil…because one is never enough :) I am uh-bsessed with purses so I always love a good excuse to get a new one.
Amelia - In addition to some TIME OFF…I want enough new books to drown myself in–or maybe just get a new bookshelf!
"Cammy" - wow… I only just saw this. =P I guess I have to start reading this regularly.
