What a total privilege it was to capture Kelly and Jared’s wedding day last weekend. Kelly was the maid of honor in Megan and Chance’s wedding last March. And over the many months that have since passed, I’ve really come to admire this bride for her organizational skills (binders, folders within folders, etc.), her incredibly recognizable/adorable laugh (I’ve always wanted one myself), her genuine and beautiful heart, and her love for Jared, who is her match in every way.
K&J – Gahhh!! As much as I am sooo very happy for you, I’m nearly devastated that the wedding/picture-taking is over! You two have been nothing but wonderful since day one. I am SO proud to know you, and to celebrate what God has done and WILL do through you, together. All my love, always!!
Nature’s Best Flowers did a positively beautiful job with the floral.
A huge thanks to makeup artist Thea Pheasey for being so amaaazing to work with.Alright, Internet.. Isn’t Kelly radiant? I just love how happy she looks here. :)Kelly and Jared decided to have a first look, and were soo glad they did! This is just moments before…Sweetest ever. :)And then it was time for some bride/groom portraits shot all throughout the loveliness that is Agave Road. These two can’t help but wear their hearts on their sleeves. Which made my job PIE.Bottom left? Favorite!K&J’s wedding day timeline was such that we were able to capture all formal portraits prior to the ceremony. And these girls were awesome!
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Kelly’s parents and sister during her bridal session a couple months back, so it was especially sweet watching Terry walk his baby girl down the aisle.
Carson and Jackson, being the studs that they are. :)The moment.. The light… I was dying.Ginooormous hugs and lovin’ to my beautiful friend and assistant Patricia for getting this sweet shot!“OMG, we’re married!!” – Kelly :)A refreshing take on place cards. Such a great idea!Cake by Edible Designs by Jessie! So elegant…First dance as man and wife. I ALWAYS get choked up right about here. :)And of course, here..This image was taken right after reading Kelly’s lips: “THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!” Made my heart so happy for her and Jared. Oh, and a tiny shout out to Meg in the back, getting her groove on. ;) Love you guys!! And a rose petal getaway sealed the deal.
Happy Saturday!! :)
