Sam Houston Park Wedding: Sara & Chad

I liken them to Cory and Topanga. Down to her gorgeously long and flowing locks (which I’ve shamefully coveted my whole life long). Down to his handsomely kind face and gentlemanly charm… Sara and Chad have known each other for the better part of their entire lives. And their romance budded – get this – EIGHTEEN years ago. Granted, back then, it was four-year-old Sara in hot pursuit of her best friend’s older brother, Chad.. And the years certainly brought them in and out of each other’s lives. But nearly two decades later, Sara admits to knowing he was the one all that time.

Chad and Sara got married last weekend at Sam Houston Park, and I couldn’t have been more honored to document their love that day. The excitement of a bride and groom so long in love, the support of sweet friends and beautiful family, and a wedding party that rocked my socks off, absolutely validated why I do what I do, over and over again.

S & C: I struggle for the proper words to express my happiness and admiration for you both. I was so blessed to be a part of your day, and leave with two awesome new friends. Sara was SO excited, she ran about a quarter mile before tapping Chad on the shoulder to turn him around. :)Chad was all, “Sara, you’re so beautiful. Sara! You’re SO beautiful. Loved how unique the table decor was! Each bottle was filled with a strand of lights!And after a long night of dancing beneath the moon, the James’s were off! Konec! (That’s Czech for “The End.” At least, Free Translation says so..) ;)Happy Thursday!
